Chris Nwadigo, an Abakaliki-based businessman, has accused United Nigeria Airlines, of failing to provide him with a refund of N58,750.

Nwadigo told FIJ he had booked a United Nigeria Airlines flight from Enugu to Lagos scheduled for April 12 but because of a substantial delay, the flight was pushed back from its initial departure time of 10 am to 2 pm.

Faced with this considerable delay, Nwadigo cancelled his flight and promptly requested a refund.

“Despite my efforts to seek resolution, I am yet to receive my refund. I have reached out to the airline through multiple emails, only to receive assurances of a refund that never materialised,” Nwadigo told FIJ.

Expressing his dissatisfaction with the situation, Nwadibo said it had been over three months since he first sought the refund and no credit had been provided despite numerous promises from the airline.

When FIJ contacted United Nigeria Airlines, a representative said the the company was in the process of taking necessary steps to resolve the matter.
